December 30th

On December 30th it was cold and windy. But the sun was out and we went for a lovely walk. Here is Jeff in front of the house, dressed for his run.	We crossed a couple of fences and walked on a dirt road along the river. We passed some of the other houses. They are all nice and everybody has a beautiful view.
On this spot the river bank was kind of high up!	Nice old pine tree.	Then Jeff went off on his run.
The trees looked really pretty agains the clear blue sy.	Pine branch up close.	I do not know the name of this bush, but it sure llooked pretty.
One more picture of the "nameless".	The shadows make a pretty pattern on the bark of the pine trees.	This is view of the trail back towards the house.
The dried out fruits and flowers were shining in the sun.		The valley plain.
	Now we are back on the dirt road. It was clearly colder in the shadow.	Sun shining on the tree top.
