Colorado Road


On December 24th we left Nebraska and headed to Colorado. Once inside Colorado the landscape became very flat. These are the great plains, where the horizon is unbelievably fa away.

No matter which direction you look it is the same. Just amazing!

Note - these pictures were taken with a good portion of time in between!

Suddenly we spotted theese peeks in the horizon. They are the Pawnee Butes. One should not go there in the summer because a lot of rattle snakes lives there

We went down this dirt road to get a better picture of the Pawnee Butes.

Here is a herd of Antilopes. They are so elegant.


Before entering in to the Rocky mountains, we passed this cattle station. The smell there was not too nice!.
